By accessing the VIU Capital platform, subscribing to any tier, or using Engine A or Engine B in any capacity, you agree to the following terms. These terms are binding upon first access.
All VIU Bankability Score™ outputs, VIU Peer Index™ calculations, Shockwave Radar assessments, and related results are qualitative analytical outputs generated by a deterministic computational framework. These do not constitute investment advice, financial recommendations, credit ratings, or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any security. Outputs are intended exclusively for informational, research, and due diligence purposes by qualified institutional and professional users.
VIU Capital is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial institution under any jurisdiction. No content produced by the VIU diagnostic engine — including scores, verdicts, narratives, peer rankings, and tearsheets — should be construed as a recommendation to take any investment action. Users are solely responsible for their own investment decisions. The VIU Inc. accepts no liability for decisions taken in reliance on diagnostic outputs.
VIU Bankability Score™, VIU Peer Index™, VIU Bankability Brief™, and VIU Capital™ are trademarks of The VIU Inc. The six-pillar methodology, canonical scoring framework, pillar weighting, threshold configurations, and narrative engine are proprietary and confidential. Subscribers may not reverse-engineer, replicate, redistribute, or publish diagnostic outputs commercially without express written consent. Any systematic querying to reconstruct the methodology constitutes a material breach and grounds for immediate termination and legal action.
Data submitted to Engine B via CSV upload is processed exclusively for generating a diagnostic output for the submitting client. The VIU Inc. does not retain, redistribute, sell, or use submitted private issuer data beyond the immediate diagnostic computation. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Clients are responsible for ensuring they have legal authorization to submit financial data. Engine B API keys are unique, non-transferable, and must not be shared with any third party.
All subscriptions are processed through Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. The VIU Inc. does not store payment card information. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days notice. Subscriptions auto-renew each billing cycle. Users may cancel at any time. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods except as required by applicable law. Student tier accounts registered with non-qualifying email are automatically refunded in full.
Prohibited uses include: (i) automated systematic querying to reconstruct the scoring methodology; (ii) sharing credentials with unauthorized third parties; (iii) use of diagnostic outputs in commercial products without a white-label agreement; (iv) submitting third-party private data to Engine B without authorization; (v) any use violating applicable securities laws or AML regulations; (vi) commercial publication of outputs without written attribution to VIU Capital™ and The VIU Inc. Violations result in immediate termination without refund.
User account data, diagnostic history, and usage logs are stored in Google Cloud Firestore (viu-diagnostic, us-central1). All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Processed in accordance with PIPEDA and Google Cloud data processing terms. DFI and institutional clients are subject to VIU FATF-aligned KYC/AML screening prior to credential issuance. NDA and Terms of Use executed before activation for DFI tiers.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada. Parties agree to attempt good-faith mediation before initiating litigation. The prevailing party in any dispute is entitled to recover reasonable legal fees and costs.
Engine A is live and accepts any public ticker across 55+ global exchanges. Engine B is available for institutional and DFI clients by credentialed request.
